This document is a revised and updated version of the document entitled “Provisions concerning advertising, customer solicitation and representations by a member” published by the Association des courtiers et agents immobiliers du Québec (ACAIQ) in June 1994. One of the objects of this revision is to take into account the OACIQ Discipline Committee’s interpretation of the provisions of the Real Estate Brokerage Act and the regulations thereunder relating to advertising, the soliciting of clients and representations. This revised version also includes information regarding new communication technologies (e.g. email and Internet)
