The OACIQ equips and empowers agency executive officers
The Organization started a vast compliance program aiming particularly at equipping and empowering agency executive officers to fulfil their role with their brokers. The goal sought by the OACIQ is to ensure that agency executive officers advise, mentor and oversee their real estate brokers more closely to better protect you.
Through this initiative, the OACIQ ensures that agency executive officers exercise their role as compliance officers with their brokers effectively, so that brokers act in accordance with best practices, the Real Estate Brokerage Act and their code of ethics.
Practically, this means that agency executive officers should more than ever help their brokers manage their activities properly, such as:
- Trust accounts;
- Advertisements;
- Follow-up on complaints;
- Conflicts of interest;
- Continuing Education, etc.
