Certification examinations
We would like to inform that examination fees are not refundable UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, unless you cancel your request before the examination. However, an amount relating to the processing of your application will be retained.
If a candidate fails to attend the scheduled examination session
As of October 1, 2025, if a candidate fails to attend the scheduled examination session and no request for postponement is submitted to the OACIQ within 10 months of the initial examination date, their file will be considered inactive. A two-month prior notice will be sent to the candidate.
The candidate must then register for a new exam session and pay the applicable deferral fees. If the candidate does not re-register after 12 months of inactivity, their file will be closed without refund.
