“Late” status and double billing

As of May 1, 2026, licensees who have not earned their 12 CEUs for the first year will see the “Late” status displayed on the Professional Development Portal (PDP).

In the event of “Late” status and until the situation is rectified, mandatory training activities will be billed at double the usual rate (see MCEP Policy - Section VI  — Article 19).

If you are in this situation in May 2026

To correct your situation and avoid double billing, earn the missing CEUs indicated in your PDP. Once your status is restored to “In progress,’’ your training activities will be billed at the regular rate.

Requirements of the 2025-2027 cycle

Whether you are the holder of a residential, commercial or full-service real estate broker’s licence, bearing or not the “certified AEO” or “AEO” title, your aim is to earn 24 CEUs throughout the cycle.
