NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON PHILIP BARRY’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Philip Barry, real estate broker (licence D8900), whose establishment is located in Brossard has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (3°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On August 24, 2023, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Barry’s licence:
That it is appropriate to maintain Mr. Barry’s real estate broker’s licence and impose the following conditions and restrictions:

NOTICE is hereby given that Philip Barry, real estate broker (licence D8900), whose establishment is located in Brossard has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (3°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On August 24, 2023, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Barry’s licence:
That it is appropriate to maintain Mr. Barry’s real estate broker’s licence and impose the following conditions and restrictions:
- Within 30 days of notification of this decision, he must complete the training course “Professional conduct, the cornerstone of your daily practice,” provided by the OACIQ Continuing Education Department.
- Within 90 days of notification of this decision, he must complete the training course “Gérer son stress dans la transaction immobilière (À travers soi),” accredited by the OACIQ Continuing Education Department.
- Within 12 months of notification of this decision, the licensee must choose and take one of the following two training courses: “Gestion efficace des émotions et de la pression” of Sherbrooke University or “L'intelligence émotionnelle: tirer le meilleur parti de soi-même et des autres” provided by UQO.
- The licensee shall send proof of completion of the training courses referred to in paragraphs b) and c) to the OACIQ Registry Service.
Should Mr. Barry fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in professional real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting broker’s and agency licences.
The decision became enforceable on October 10, 2023.
