NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON SCOTT CANNON’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Scott Canon, residential real estate broker, licence number H4423, whose establishment is located in Laval has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).

On March 10, 2021, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Cannon:

That it is appropriate to issue a licence to Mr. Scott Cannon with the following conditions and restrictions:

For a period of three (3) years following the issuance of his licence, prohibiting him from carrying on activities on his own account and from being designated and/or from acting as agency executive officer.

For a period of three (3) years following his licence issuance, he shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with his agency executive officer regarding follow-up meetings.

A copy of this agreement shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service, within thirty (30) days following the notification of this decision.

In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in item a), he must enter into an agreement according to the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy of this agreement to the OACIQ Registry, within 30 days following the agency change.

The summary of the follow-up meetings must be recorded in writing and must include the difficulties, achievements and corrective measures to be taken by the licence holder in his real estate brokerage practice.

These meetings must take place at least four (4) times during the licence holder's first year of practice, twice during his second year and once during his third year.

The minutes of these meetings must be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service no later than the following dates:

i) June 30, 2021
ii) September 30, 2021
iii) December 31, 2021
iv) March 31, 2022
v) September 30, 2022
vi) March 31, 2023
vii) October 31, 2023

Should Mr. Scott Cannon fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.

This notice became enforceable on April 7, 2021.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
