NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON ERIC TANIOS’ LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Eric Tanios, full-service real estate broker (licence D8765), whose establishment is located in Blainville, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On May 8, 2025, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Tanios’ licence:
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting broker’s and agency licences.
The decision became enforceable on July 8, 2025.

NOTICE is hereby given that Eric Tanios, full-service real estate broker (licence D8765), whose establishment is located in Blainville, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On May 8, 2025, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Tanios’ licence:
- As of the notification of this decision and until 36 months following his discharge from bankruptcy, the licensee shall be prohibited from carrying on real estate brokerage activities within a business corporation.
- From the notification of this decision until 36 months following his discharge from bankruptcy, the licensee shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he carries on his real estate brokerage activities to the effect that the latter retains the GST and QST payable to him until he is required to remit them upon transmission of his tax return every three months, which should be kept in the agency's file.
- From the notification of this decision until 36 months following his discharge from bankruptcy, the licensee shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he carries on his real estate brokerage activities to the effect that the latter holds a minimum of 30% of his remuneration for the purpose of paying his taxes, until such time as he is required to remit it upon transmission of a copy of his notices of assessment, or for the purpose of making instalment payments.
- A copy of the agreement mentioned in paragraphs (b) and (c) shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service within 30 days of notification of this decision.
- In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in paragraphs (b) and (c), the licensee shall send the Organization’s Registry Service a new undertaking under the same conditions with the new agency within 30 days of the agency change.
- The licensee shall send his certificate of discharge from bankruptcy to the OACIQ’s Registry Service as soon as possible after its receipt.
- Should the licensee not be discharged from his bankruptcy by May 1, 2026, his file will be resubmitted to the Committee.
- The period referred to in the decision shall end only upon the completion of such period with an active real estate broker's licence.ç
- The period referred to in the decision shall be suspended in the event the licensee suspends or revokes his real estate broker's licence.
- The licensee is strongly encouraged to continue his psychological follow-up on a weekly basis for a period of at least six months from the notification of this decision.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting broker’s and agency licences.
The decision became enforceable on July 8, 2025.
