NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON IAN SÉVIGNY’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Ian Sévigny, residential real estate broker, licence number J2851, whose establishment is located in Montreal has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.

On March 23, 2023, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Ian Sévigny’s licence:
 
  1. For 24 months following his licence issuance, he will be prohibited from carrying on activities on his own account.
 
  1. For 24 months following his licence issuance, he will be prohibited from carrying on activities  within a business corporation.
 
  1. For 12 months following his licence issuance, the licensee shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he will carry on his activities to the effect that the latter holds in trust the GST/QST payable to him in the course of his real estate brokerage activities, until he is required to remit them along with his tax return.
 
  1. A copy of the agreement mentioned in paragraph (c) shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service within thirty (30) days of his licence issuance.
 
  1. In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in paragraph (c), the licensee must enter into a new agreement under the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy thereof to the Organization’s Registry Service within 30 days following the agency change.
 
  1. The periods referred to in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) shall end only upon the completion of such periods with an active real estate broker's licence.
 
  1. The periods referred to in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) shall be suspended in the event the licensee suspends or revokes his real estate broker's licence.
 
Should the licensee fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his real estate broker's licence shall be suspended until he does so.

This notice became enforceable on May 1st , 2023.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences.
