NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON VIRGINIA CROMP’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Virginia Cromp, full-service real estate broker (licence C8626), whose establishment is located in Longueuil, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on her licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).

On March 24, 2021, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Ms. Virginia Cromp :

That it is appropriate to issue a licence to Ms. Virginia Cromp with the following conditions and restrictions :

a) She must complete, within a 6-month period following the notification of this decision, the training activities entitled “The Promise to purchase”, “The Brokerage contract – Sale” and “The Declarations by the seller of the immovable”, provided by the OACIQ Continuing Education Department or any other equivalent training accredited by the OACIQ;

b) Within a period of three (3) years following the issuance of her licence, she shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which she carries on her activities to the effect that the latter holds in trust the GST and QST payable to her, as a real estate broker, until she is required to remit them to government authorities. The sums withheld by the agency for this purpose shall be remitted to the applicant upon the filing of her tax return;

c) A copy of this agreement shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service, within thirty (30) days following the notification of this decision;

d) In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in item b), she must enter into an agreement under the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy thereof to the OACIQ Registry Service, within 30 days following the agency change;

e) For a period of three (3) years following the issuance of her licence, prohibiting her from carrying on activities on her own account and from being designated and/or from acting as agency executive officer.

Should Ms. Virginia Cromp fail to comply with any of the above conditions or restrictions, her licence shall be suspended until she does so.

This notice became enforceable on April 29 avril, 2021.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
