NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON JOEY BELISLE’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Joey Belisle, residential real estate broker, licence number H6217, whose establishment is located in Montreal has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).
On May 5, 2021, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Belisle’s licence:
That there is a connection between all the offences committed by the applicant and the performance of brokerage transactions.
That it is appropriate to issue a licence to Mr. Joey Bélisle with the following conditions and restrictions:
a) For a period of two (2) years following the issuance of his licence, prohibiting him from carrying on activities on his own account and from being designated and/or from acting as agency executive officer;
b) For a period of two (2) years following his licence issuance, he shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with his agency executive officer regarding follow-up meetings;
c) The follow-up meetings between the applicant and his agency executive officer will focus on the verification of brokerage contracts and transaction promises, the difficulties, achievements, and corrective measures to be taken by the applicant in his real estate brokerage practice;
d) A copy of this agreement shall be forwarded to the OACIQ Registry Service within thirty (30) days following the applicant’s licence issuance;
e) In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in item a), he shall enter into an agreement under the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy of this agreement to the OACIQ Registry Service within 30 days following the agency change;
f) The summary of the follow-up meetings must be recorded in writing and include all the points mentioned in paragraph c):
g) These meetings shall take place at least four times during the applicant's first year of practice and twice during his second year;
h) The minutes of these meetings must be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service no later than the following dates:
i. September 30, 2021
ii. December 31, 2021
iii. March 31, 2022
iv. June 30, 2022
v. September 30, 2022
vi. March 31, 2023
Should Joey Bélisle fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.
This notice became enforceable on June 8, 2021.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
