NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON JOCELYN JEANTY’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Jocelyn Jeanty, full-service real estate broker (licence E5962), whose establishment is located in Laval has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (1°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.

On March 17, 2022, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Jeanty:

a) For a period of 60 months following his licence issuance, prohibiting him from carrying on activities on his own account and from being designated as agency executive officer and/or from acting as one.

b) For his first 12 transactions or if the applicant has not completed 12 transactions within 12 months of his licence issuance for a period of 12 months, the applicant must be under the direct supervision of his agency executive officer, or an experienced real estate broker designated by the agency executive officer.

c) The applicant shall send a letter from his agency executive officer to the Organization’s Registry Service certifying that the condition or restriction referred to in paragraph b) has been fulfilled within 30 days of the end of the condition or restriction.

d) The periods referred to in paragraphs a) and b) shall end when the applicant accumulates the required periods as an active real estate broker’s licence holder;

e) The periods referred to in paragraphs a) and b) shall be suspended in the event the applicant suspends or revokes his real estate broker's licence.

f) Within six (6) months following his licence issuance, he shall complete the requesting the training entitled “The form Exclusive brokerage contract – Purchase for brokers working in residential real estate brokerage,” provided by the OACIQ Continuing Education Department or any other equivalent training accredited by the OACIQ, in addition to courses that he must take to meet his continuing education obligations.

Should the holder fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.

This notice became enforceable on April 1, 2022.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences.
