NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF RESTRICTIONS OR CONDITIONS ON A LICENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Mr. Louisius Lavaud, broker (licence B8526), whose establishment is located in Montréal, had restrictions and conditions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).
On June 28, 2017, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following restriction on Mr. Louisius Lavaud’s licence, effective August 1, 2017:
He is prohibited from acting on his own account and/or as agency executive officer, until he is discharged from his bankruptcy.
The following conditions were also imposed:
By February 1, 2018, he must, if he is a licence holder or, if not, whenever he becomes a licence holder again, complete the training entitled “Savoir budgéter et gérer ses revenus et dépenses”, provided by St-Hyacinthe’s CÉGEP and accredited and recognized under the OACIQ Mandatory Continuing Education Program, or any other training deemed equivalent by the OACIQ Continuing Education Department, in addition to courses that he must take to meet his continuing education obligations.
To be able to lift the restriction imposed on his licence by this committee, he must send to the OACIQ Registry his certificate of discharge or any other document proving that he is discharged from bankruptcy, in addition to meeting other requirements set out in the Real Estate Brokerage Act and its regulations.
If Mr. Louisius Lavaud fails to complete the training within the specified period, his licence will be suspended until such time as he complies.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
