NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF RESTRICTIONS OR CONDITIONS
ON MICHEL LAFLEUR’S LICENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Michel Lafleur, real estate broker, licence No. B2948, whose establishment is located in Gatineau, had conditions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec, pursuant to section 38 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (R.S.Q., c. C-73.2).
On July 4, 2018, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions on Michel Lafleur’s licence:
a) For a period of two years following notification of this decision, as of August 16, 2018, Michel Lafleur shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he carries on his activities to the effect that the latter shall hold in trust the GST and QST payable to him, as a real estate broker, until he is required to remit them along with his tax return.
b) A copy of this agreement shall be forwarded to the OACIQ Registry within thirty (30) days following notification of the decision.
In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in item a), he must enter into an agreement according to the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy of this agreement to the OACIQ Registry, within 30 days following the agency change;
d) He must send a copy of his certificate of discharge or any other document proving that he is discharged from bankruptcy to the OACIQ Registry, as soon as he receives it.
e) He will be prohibited from acting on his own account or being designated and/or acting as agency executive officer for a period of two years following notification of the decision, as of August 16, 2018.
If Michel Lafleur fails to comply with the conditions imposed, his right to engage in professional real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
