NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF RESTRICTIONS OR CONDITIONS
ON NATHALIE DORÉ’S LICENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Nathalie Doré, real estate broker (licence E9218), whose establishment is located in Québec, has had a condition imposed on her licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2) (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).
On August 1, 2018, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions on Nathalie Doré’s licence:
a) She must complete, within a 90-day period following the notification of this decision, the training entitled “The broker as a self-employed worker”, provided by the OACIQ Continuing Education Department or any other equivalent training accredited by the OACIQ, in addition to courses that she must take to meet her continuing education obligations;
b) For a period of two (2) years following notification of this decision, she shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which she carries on her activities to the effect that the agency holds in trust the GST and QST payable to her, as a real estate broker, until she is required to remit them.
c) A copy of this agreement shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry, within 30 days following notification of this decision;
d) In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in item b), she must enter into an agreement according to the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy of it to the OACIQ Registry, within 30 days following the agency change.
If Nathalie Doré fails to comply with the conditions imposed, her right to engage in professional real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until she does so.
In accordance with section 39 of the Real Estate Brokerage Act, this decision remains valid, as the case may be:
1º until the syndic or assistant syndic decides not to file a complaint; or
2º until the discipline committee renders a final and enforceable decision on the complaint filed by the syndic or assistant syndic.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
