NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS
ON CYNTHIA BERNIER’S LICENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Cynthia Bernier, residential real estate broker, licence number G9258, whose establishment is located in Blainville has had conditions and restrictions imposed on her licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).
On April 21, 2021, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Ms. Bernier’s licence:
That Ms. Cynthia Bernier’s licence should be maintained with the following conditions and restrictions:
a) For a period of one year following the notification of this decision, she shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which she carries on her activities to the effect that the latter holds in trust the GST and QST payable to her, as real estate broker, until she is required to remit them along with her tax return;
b) A copy of this agreement shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service, within thirty (30) days following the notification of this decision;
c) In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in item a), she must enter into an agreement under the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy of this agreement to the OACIQ Registry Service, within thirty (30) days following the agency change;
d) For a period of one year following the notification of this decision, prohibiting her from carrying on activities on her own account and from being designated and/or from acting as agency executive officer.
If Ms. Cynthia Bernier fails to comply with the conditions imposed, her right to engage in professional real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until she does so.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
This decision became enforceable on May 25, 2021.
