NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON SERGE PINEAULT’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Serge Pineault, full-service real estate broker (licence A3263), whose establishment is located in Quebec city, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (1° and 2°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).

On November 10, 2021, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Pineault:

That it is appropriate to maintain Mr. Pineault’s licence and impose the following conditions and restrictions:

a) As of the notification of this decision, prohibiting him from carrying on activities on his own account and/or from being designated as agency executive officer and/or from acting as one, for a period ending one year after his absolute discharge from bankruptcy;

b) The applicant shall be discharged from bankruptcy on or before December 31, 2022;

c) He shall send his certificate of discharge from bankruptcy to the OACIQ Registry Service within 30 days of his discharge;

d) Within three months following the notification of this decision, he shall complete the training course entitled “Professional conduct, the cornerstone of your daily practice,” provided by the OACIQ Continuing Education Department or any other equivalent training accredited by the OACIQ, in addition to courses he must take to meet his continuing education obligations.

Should Mr. Pineault fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in professional real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).

The decision became enforceable on December 7, 2021.
