NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON CLAUDE VERREAULT’S LICENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Claude Verreault, full-service real estate broker (licence B2468), whose establishment is located in Quebec City, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence, following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (CQLR, c. C-73.2).
On June 16, 2021, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Verreault:
That Mr. Verreault’s licence should be maintained with the following conditions and restrictions:
a) He will be prohibited from acting on his own account or as agency executive officer until he is discharged from bankruptcy.
b) The licensee shall send an authorization to release information signed by him, authorizing the OACIQ, its employees or mandataries, to contact his bankruptcy trustee and obtain documents. This authorization shall be valid until the licensee is discharged. The authorization shall be received by the Organization’s Registry Service within thirty (30) days of serving this decision on the licensee.
Should Mr. Verreault fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r. 3).
The decision became enforceable on August 19, 2021.
