NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON CHAD OFTER’S LICENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Chad Ofter, residential real estate broker, licence number H4217, whose establishment is located in Kirkland has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On May 5, 2022, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Ofter:
a) For a period of 36 months following his licence issuance, prohibiting him from carrying on activities on his own account and from being designated as agency executive officer and/or from acting as one.
b) The period referred to in paragraph (a) shall end when the applicant accumulates 36 months as an active real estate broker’s licence holder.
c) The period referred to in paragraph (a) shall be suspended in the event the applicant suspends or revokes his real estate broker's licence.
If Mr. Ofter fails to comply with the conditions and restrictions imposed, his right to carry out real estate brokerage activities will be suspended until he does so.
This notice became enforceable on June 20, 2022.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences.
