NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF
DAVID TARDIF’S LICENCE (E2815)

Be advised that on May 9, 2023, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the real estate broker licence of Mr. David Tardif, whose establishment is located in Île-des-Sœurs, be suspended from June 15 to October 12, 2023, for committing the following offences:

Count 1: Concerning an immovable located in Montreal, on three occasions, he did not avoid placing himself in a conflict of interest, namely: a) on or about March 12, 2018, by having the seller sign the brokerage contract and having him accept his promise to purchase at the same time; b) on or about April 23, 2018, by not terminating his brokerage contract before presenting his second promise to purchase; and c) as of or about April 23, 2018, by not notifying the other undivided co-owners of the possibility of exercising their "right of first refusal."

Count 2b): On or about March 21, 2018, concerning an immovable located in Montreal, entered or allowed someone to enter an inaccurate date of signing of the brokerage contract in the Centris listing sheet.

Count 3:  On or about July 3, 2018, concerning an immovable located in Montreal, while sending an email to one of the undivided co-owners of the immovable, showed a lack of objectivity and moderation toward him.

Count 4: On November 12 and 17, 2018, concerning an immovable located in Montreal, while negotiating a transaction to allow one of the undivided co-owners of the immovable to purchase said immovable, through his lawyer, demanded that she withdraw her request for assistance with the OACIQ.
