Be advised that on May 1, 2023, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the commercial and residential real estate broker licence of Mr. Éric Lachapelle, whose establishment is located in L’Assomption, be suspended from July 1, 2023 to September 28, 2023, for committing the following offences:

Count 1: On or around June 17, 2015, concerning an immovable located in L'Assomption, while acting as an intermediary for promisor-buyers, allowed or tolerated (a) the signing of transactional documents indicating a sale price that did not represent reality and (b) the sending of false documents and/or information to the financial institution in support of the promisor-buyers’ financing application;

Count 2: In Brossard, on or around November 3, 2020, during an investigation conducted by the Syndic's Office, concerning an immovable located in L'Assomption, did not disclose all the facts he was aware of regarding the transaction;
