Be advised that on February 28, 2023, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the commercial and residential real estate broker licence of Mr. Jean Pierre Vaillancourt, whose establishment is located in Laval, be suspended from April 13, 2023 to July 11, 2023, for committing the following offences:

Count 1b): On or about April 1, 2021, concerning an immovable located in Mirabel, while he knew that the seller was represented by a selling broker and that he had not obtained the latter's permission, suggested that the said seller accept a promise to purchase, even though the seller had informed him that he had just signed an enhancements form related to another promise to purchase.

Count 2: On or about April 2, 2021, concerning an immovable located in Laval, in the course of the performance of a brokerage contract, affixed the seller's initials on a copy of an annex without authorization and, notably, sent it to his agency.

Count 3: On or about April 20, 2021, concerning an immovable located in Laval, in the course of the performance of a brokerage contract, while the seller had informed him that he wanted to terminate the brokerage contract, he requested the payment of the amount of $2,000 and notably told him that if he fails to pay this amount, he will be obliged to notify the OACIQ to have his property taken off the market until he pays the required amount.
