NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF
ROBERT GIROUX’S LICENCE (D5356)

Be advised that on August 25, 2025, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the real estate broker’s licence of Mr. Robert Giroux, whose establishment is located in Piedmont, be suspended from September 29, 2025, to March 29, 2026, for committing the following offences:
Count 1: On or about October 11, 2021, concerning an immovable located in Blainville and in the course of performing a brokerage contract to sell, while he knew or should have known that the collaborating broker planned to present a promise to purchase for his client, he failed to inform him in a timely manner of the existence of a promise to purchase.
Count 2: On or about October 11, 2021, concerning an immovable located in Blainville and in the course of performing a brokerage contract to sell, while the collaborating broker's clients had a visit scheduled for October 12, 2021, at 11:00 am, he failed to inform her in a timely manner of the existence of a promise to purchase.
Count 3: On or about October 11, 2021, concerning an immovable located in Blainville and in the course of performing a brokerage contract, while the collaborating broker's clients were scheduled to visit at 4:30 pm and he knew that they would possibly make a promise to purchase, he tolerated or allowed a promise to purchase to be accepted without first informing the collaborating broker that the seller intended to respond to said promise to purchase before 5:00 pm that same day.
