NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF
DANIEL BENOIT’S LICENCE (C5000)

Be advised that on June 19, 2026, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the real estate broker’s licence of Mr. Daniel Benoit, whose establishment is located in Mascouche, be suspended from July 21 to October 3, 2026, for committing the following offences:
Count 1: On or about January 26, 2022, in the course of performing a brokerage contract, falsely led the collaborating broker to believe that a multiple- offer situation prevailed, thereby prompting prospective buyers to enhance their promise to purchase on two occasions.
Count 2b): On or about May 4, 2022, while the property that was the subject of a brokerage contract was not listed on an information listing service, he allowed prospective buyers, represented by a real estate broker from his team, to visit the property.
Count 3: On or about May 5, 2022, while the property that was the subject of a brokerage contract was not listed on an information listing service, and concomitantly with the presentation of a promise to purchase by the prospective buyers represented by a real estate broker from his team, had the sellers sign amendments stipulating that they retroactively waived their right to use an information listing service.
