NOTICE OF SUSPENSION
OF MR. HOC SAM TONG’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Mr. Hoc Sam Tong, former real estate broker (licence No. D5065) whose establishment is located in Brossard, has been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du Courtage Immobilier du Québec of the offence summarized below:

1st count: During 2005 and 2006, concerning an immovable, failing to inform, in a timely manner and in writing, the promising buyers of that immovable of the fact that the immovable had been used to grow cannabis, whereas he knew that the immovable had been used for this purpose; the whole contrary to section 13 of the Rules of Professional Ethics of the ACAIQ.

On June 23, 2011, the Discipline Committee ordered a permanent suspension of Mr. Hoc Sam Tong’s licence (D5065) enforceable as of the date the decision is served on the defendant if the defendant is the holder of a licence issued by the OACIQ or, if not, whenever he becomes a licence holder again, and prohibited him from applying again to the OACIQ for any licence of any category whatsoever.

Since Mr. Hoc Sam Tong is not a licence holder, his licence will be suspended permanently whenever he becomes a licence holder again.

This notice is given in accordance with section 98.1 of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (R.S.Q., c. C-73.2) and section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences.
