NOTICE OF SUSPENSION
OF MS. MARIE-LYNE POUPART’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Ms. Marie-Lyne Poupart, former real estate broker (licence no. E1771), whose establishment was located in Montréal, has been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) of the offence summarized below:

1st count: Between on or around January 19, 2010 and on or around May 3, 2010, in the course of steps taken to obtain a financing secured by immovable hypothec for the acquisition of an immovable, sent or allowed to be sent to a financial institution false documents and/or inaccurate information in support of a financing application of the promising buyer, whereas she had not obtained these documents and this information from the latter and/or she had failed or neglected to confirm their legitimacy by the latter or by the alleged issuers of said documents, thus committing an offence under section 62 of the Regulation respecting brokerage requirements, professional conduct of brokers and advertising.

On January 28, 2014, the Discipline Committee ordered a suspension of Ms. Marie-Lyne Poupart’s real estate broker’s licence (licence no. E1771) for a period of sixty (60) days. Given that Ms. Marie-Lyne Poupart is no longer a licence holder, her licence will be suspended for a period of sixty (60) days whenever she becomes a licence holder again.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
