NOTICE OF SUSPENSION AND IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS ON A LICENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Jocelyn Grégoire, former real estate broker, licence No. G2364, whose establishment was located in Brossard, has notably been found guilty by the OACIQ Discipline Committee of the offences summarized below:
Count 1: Between on or around the months of May 2012 and June 2014, failed and/or neglected to comply with the decision made on May 2, 2012 by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec, which provided the following:
“For a period of three (3) years following the notification of this decision, Mr. Jocelyn Grégoire’s practice shall be overseen and supervised by the executive officer of the agency he is acting for.”
Counts 2 a) and 2 b): Between on or around the months of May 2012 and June 2014, performed or tried to perform brokerage transactions on behalf of a company, whereas the latter was not holder of a licence duly issued by the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec, especially regarding borrowers’ mortgage financing applications.
On March 29, 2016, the Discipline Committee ordered the suspension of Jocelyn Grégoire's licence No. G2364 for a period of 150 days, to be served whenever he becomes a licence holder again.
In addition, he Discipline Committee ordered the imposition of a condition on Jocelyn Grégoire's licence No. G2364, from the time his licence suspension has been served, which obliges him to be supervised during a period of 36 months by a chartered real estate broker with at least 10 years of experience, the said supervisor must report to the syndic's office every 3 months.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
