LICENCE SUSPENSION AND RESTRICTIONS NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that Josée Fortin, former real estate broker, licence No. E5784, whose establishment was located in Québec, has been found guilty by the OACIQ Discipline Committee of the offence summarized below:
Count 1: For the years 2011 to 2014, evaded the payment and \ or the remittance of sums collected for the goods and services tax (GST) and Québec sales tax (QST) by not submitting them to government authorities.
On February 25, 2016, the Discipline Committee ordered the suspension of Josée Fortin’s licence No. E5784 for a period of three months and imposed a restriction on her licence, permanently prohibiting her from collecting and administering all the taxes related to the sale of immovables, all effective whenever she becomes a licence holder again.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
