LICENCE SUSPENSION NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that Nadia Jacques, former real estate broker, licence No. G0623, whose establishment was located in Montréal, has notably been found guilty by the OACIQ Discipline Committee of the offences summarized below:

Count 1 b): As of or about November 13, 2013, concerning an immovable, failed to honour her commitment to the promising buyers to pay an amount of $1,000 for notary fees and costs;

Count 2: As of or about July 15, 2014, concerning an immovable, failed to collaborate with an Analyst from the OACIQ Assistance Department by omitting, neglecting or refusing to confirm via email the verbal agreement made by phone to the effect that she would reimburse the amount of $1,000 to the promising buyers for notary fees and costs.

Count 3: As part of an investigation conducted by the assistant syndic concerning an immovable:

  1. As of March 30, 2015, at 11:15 am, failed to reply to the assistant syndic’s email asking her to call him back;
  2. As of April 16, 2015, failed to respond to the request sent by registered mail by the assistant syndic asking her to contact him;
  3. Failed to appear before the syndic’s office on June 15, 2015, at 10:00 am, as required by the subpoena duces tecum signed by the assistant syndic on May 29, 2015;
  4. On or about June 22, 2015, failed to honour her commitment to appear before the Syndic’s Office to answer the assistant syndic’s questions.

On June 7, 2016, the Discipline Committee ordered the suspension of Nadia Jacques's licence No. G0623 for a period of 180 days, to be served whenever she becomes a licence holder again.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
