The seller's declarations

Come and practice your abilities to effectively advise your clients when drafting the mandatory form “Declarations by the seller of the immovable”. It must be used for the sale, by a natural person, of any chiefly residential immovable containing less than 5 dwellings, including an immovable held in divided or undivided co-ownership. When taking a brokerage contract, the broker must complete this form with the seller and have it signed. This is a matter of transparency and protection of the interests of the parties engaged in a transaction and of the broker. The seller shall enter all the information in the form to the best of his knowledge. The form does not require the seller to declare things he does not know.
