Representations made by licensees, and the advertising and information they disseminate, must comply with the Organization's regulations.

These rules apply not only to licensees, agency executive officers and directors, but also to franchisers and any person or partnership promoting real estate brokerage services1.

Certain signage laws must also be respected, for example, when installing a “For Sale” sign. It is therefore important to check the applicable laws with the authorities concerned, such as the Ministère des Transports and the municipalities.
