NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON PIERRE ROCHEFORT’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Pierre Rochefort, full-service real estate broker (licence C0461), whose establishment is located in Trois-Rivières has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (2°) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On August 4, 2022, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Pierre Rochefort:
a) From his licence issuance until 36 months following his discharge from bankruptcy, prohibiting him from carrying on activities on his own account and from being designated as agency executive officer and/or from acting as one.
b) From his licence issuance until 36 months following his discharge from bankruptcy, the applicant shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he carries on his activities to the effect that the latter holds in trust the GST and QST payable to him, as real estate broker, until he is required to remit them along with his tax return.
c) From his licence issuance until 36 months following his discharge from bankruptcy, the applicant shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he carries on his activities to the effect that the latter holds in trust a percentage of his compensation to pay his taxes.
d) A copy of the agreement mentioned in paragraphs b) and c) shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service within thirty (30) days of his licence issuance.
e) In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in paragraphs b) and c), the applicant must enter into an agreement under the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy thereof to the Organization’s Registry Service within 30 days following the agency change.
If the applicant fails to comply with the conditions and restrictions imposed, his right to carry out real estate brokerage activities will be suspended until he does so.
This notice became enforceable on September 1st, 2022.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences.
