NOTICE OF SUSPENSION
OF MRS. CAMELIA-FLORENTINA PANAIT’S LICENCE

File: 33-12-1465

NOTICE is hereby given that Mrs. Camelia-Florentina Panait, former real estate broker (licence no. E1540), whose establishment was located in Saint-Sauveur, has notably been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) of the offence summarized below:

1st count: Around the months of May and June 2009, concerning an immovable, allowed and/or made it easier for an individual who is a not a member of the ACAIQ to put in place a scheme allowing the prospective buyer to obtain a financing secured by immovable hypothec on the basis of documents and information that proved to be false, thus committing an offence under section 13 of the Rules of Professional Ethics of the ACAIQ.

On April 29, 2013, the Discipline Committee ordered a suspension of Mrs. Camelia-Florentina Panait's real estate broker’s licence (E1540) for a period of four (4) months on count no. 1 of the formal complaint, to be served as of the expiry of the appeals deadline if the defendant is the holder of a licence issued by the OACIQ or, if not, whenever she becomes a licence holder again.

Given that Mrs. Camelia-Florentina Panait is no longer a licence holder, her licence will be suspended for a period of four (4) months whenever she becomes a licence holder again.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., C-73.2, r.3).
