NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF
MR. JEAN BÉLISLE’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Jean Bélisle, former real estate broker (Licence No. C4855), whose establishment was located in Montréal, has been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) of the offences summarized below:

1st count: Acted blindly or for convenience by completing in whole or in part the following documents:

a) On or around September 29, 2009, concerning an immovable, a Promise to purchase, an Annex A and an Annex B designating a promising buyer;

b) On or around November 18, 2009, concerning an immovable, section 4 “Price and terms of sale” of a brokerage contract, designating a seller;

c) On or around December 20, 2009, concerning an immovable, a Promise to purchase, an Annex A and an Annex B designating a promising buyer;

d) On or around January 2, 2010, concerning an immovable, a Promise to purchase, an Annex A and an Annex B designating a promising buyer;

e) On or around February 17, 2010, concerning an immovable, a Promise to purchase, an Annex A and an Annex B, designating promising buyers;

f) On or around March 2, 2010, concerning an immovable, an Amendment and notice of fulfilment of conditions form, designating promising buyers;

and by submitting some of these documents to a third party to supposedly obtain the signature of individuals designated therein; committing on each of these occasions, an offence under section 13 of the Rules of Professional Ethics of the ACAIQ.

On November 26, 2014, the Discipline Committee ordered the suspension of Jean Bélisle’s real estate broker’s licence (Licence No. C4855) for a total period of twenty-four (24) months on counts No. 1 a) to f) of the formal complaint.

Given that Jean Bélisle is no longer a licence holder, his licence will be suspended whenever he becomes a licence holder again.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
