MR. GEORGES ANDRÉ MONTREUIL’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Georges André Montreuil, former real estate broker (Licence No. C8943), whose establishment was located in Lasalle, has been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) of the offences summarized below:
1st count: On May 23, 2006, having been found guilty, after entering a guilty plea before the Honourable Jean Charbonneau (case 0080331351) of the Municipal Court of Laval, of a criminal offence related to the practice of the profession.
3rd count: In Brossard, on or around August 21, 2009, made a false declaration during an investigation conducted by an assistant syndic.
On February 4, 2015, the Discipline Committee ordered the suspension of Georges André Montreuil’s real estate broker’s licence (Licence No. C8943) for respective periods of fifteen (15) months and ninety (90) days on counts No. 1 and 3 of the formal complaint, to be served executively with each other.
Given that Georges André Montreuil is no longer a licence holder, his licence will be suspended for a period of fifteen (15) months and ninety (90) days whenever he becomes a licence holder again.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
