NOTICE is hereby given that Mathieu Charbonneau, former mortgage broker, licence No. G2579, whose establishment was located in Québec, has notably been found guilty by the OACIQ Discipline Committee of the offences summarized below:

Count 3 e) to h): Has been found guilty of offences related to the practice of the profession:

On or around July 8, 2015, in case No. 505-01-122311-141:

“On or around March 16, 2014, resisted and/or voluntarily obstructed peace officers acting in the performance of their duties […];

f) On or around July 8, 2015, in case No. 505-01-124553-146:

“On or around September 14, 2014, stole a phone charger, compact discs and miscellaneous items valued at more than $5,000 […]

g) On or around July 8, 2015, in case No. 505-01-124554-144:

“On or around September 14, 2014, being released on his commitment entered into before a judge or justice of the peace, in case(s) 750-01-043062-148 and 750-04-043063-146, failed to comply with it while he was required to formally refrain from consuming or possessing any alcoholic beverages […].

On or around July 8, 2015, in case No. 505-01-122310-143:
i: “On or around September 14, 2014, being released on his commitment entered into before a judge or justice of the peace, in case 13CC010776, failed to comply with it while he was required to refrain from consuming any alcoholic beverages […];
iii (sic): “On or around September 14, 2014, being released on his commitment entered into before a judge or justice of the peace, in case 13CC010776, failed to comply with it while he was prohibited from frequenting bars, discos or any other places where alcohol can be consumed, except restaurants for meals […].

On January 16, 2018, the Discipline Committee ordered the permanent suspension of Mathieu Charbonneau's licence No. G2579, to be served whenever he becomes a licence holder again, notwithstanding appeal.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
