The OACIQ unveils its employer brand
Express your true nature!

 

Brossard, March 11, 2024 — The skills and strengths of its employees, represented by their totem animal, are at the heart of the very first employer brand of the l’Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ).

An original approach

In line with the annual awareness campaign "It's in our nature", the campaign to be rolled out on social media in March features employees, each one associated with a value symbolized by a shaded animal personifying that value.

This original concept stems from a unifying totemization activity, carried out by all OACIQ employees, whose principle is to define the animal and the quality that best represent them. Meanwhile, cultural workshops were held in 2023 to gain a better understanding of employee expectations and redefine organizational values.

Values at the heart of employer brand

The OACIQ's core values — Leadership, Competence, Integrity, Collaboration and Accountability — are the foundation of the employer brand campaign. Designed to attract and retain the best talents, the employer brand makes OACIQ employees true ambassadors and invites candidates to join an environment where everyone can express their true nature, while sharing common values.

"We have chosen to put our employees at the heart of our employer brand because they embody our values, mission and ambitions. The aim of this campaign is to strengthen employees' sense of belonging and help candidates identify with the OACIQ's organizational culture," explains Nadine Lindsay, President and Chief Executive Officer of the OACIQ. "We are particularly proud of this project because it was entirely carried out by our internal teams.”

The Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec  (OACIQ) ensures the protection of members of the public who enlist the services of real estate brokerage professionals governed by the Real Estate Brokerage Act. It is a member of the Real Estate Regulators of Canada (RERC), a body that brings together all Canadian regulators in the area of real estate brokerage, building inspection, and co-ownership property management for some provinces.
