NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON ÉTIENNE LAMARCHE’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Étienne Lamarche, residential real estate broker, licence number H7559, whose establishment is located in Sherbrooke has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.

On June 2, 2022, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Lamarche:

a) For a period of 36 months following his licence issuance, prohibiting him from carrying on activities on his own account and from being designated as agency executive officer and/or from acting as one.

b) The period referred to in paragraph (a) shall end when the applicant accumulates 36 months as an active real estate broker’s licence holder.

c) The period referred to in paragraph (a) shall be suspended in the event the applicant suspends or revokes his real estate broker's licence.

d) For his first five transactions, if not, during a period of twelve months, the applicant must be under the direct supervision of his agency executive officer or an experienced real estate broker designated by the agency executive officer.

e) Within 30 days of his licence issuance, the applicant shall send a letter to the Organization’s Registry Service stating that his agency executive officer undertakes to supervise him as referred to in paragraph (d).

f) In the event of any agency change during the first five transactions or otherwise during the twelve-month period, the applicant shall send a letter from his new agency executive officer stating that he undertakes to provide the supervision referred to in paragraph d) within 30 days of the change of agency.

g) The supervision required in paragraphs d) shall end when the applicant has carried out five transactions or when he accumulates 12 months as an active real estate broker’s licence holder. The first of the two conditions shall end the supervision obligation.

h) The period referred to in paragraph d) shall be suspended in the event the applicant suspends or revokes his real estate broker's licence.

Should the applicant fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.

This notice became enforceable on July 4, 2022.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences.
