Characterization of property

A real estate broker needs to know what property is included in or excluded from the sale.

The Civil Code of Québec makes a distinction between movable and immovable property.1 The real estate broker must be aware of these distinctions in order to properly complete the section concerning inclusions and exclusions in brokerage contract and transaction proposal forms.
