LICENCE SUSPENSION NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that Sylvie Paradis, former real estate broker, licence No. F0542, whose establishment was located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, has notably been found guilty by the OACIQ Discipline Committee of the offences summarized below:
Counts 3 a) and 3 b): At all relevant times before April 6, 2014, concerning an immovable, when drafting two promises to purchase, failing to ensure that the promising buyers are informed of the death of the previous owner in the immovable and the circumstances and events surrounding the discovery thereof;
Count 4) at all relevant times before April 5, 2014, concerning an immovable, failing to ensure that the content of the inspection report and estimate of a company dated February 13, 2014, is disclosed to promising buyers.
On May 16, 2016, the Discipline Committee ordered the suspension of Sylvie Paradis's licence No. F0542 for a period of 60 days, to be served whenever she becomes a licence holder again.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
