IMPORTANT
A real estate broker acting on his own account may not operate within a business corporation or employ other real estate brokers.

Inspection Department resources on regulatory requirements related to the opening, maintenance, and delegation of a trust account, or exemption from such an account.
GOOD TO KNOW!
- A real estate agency may delegate its obligations related to the opening and maintenance of a trust account to only one other real estate agency by completing the Notice of delegation (PDF).
- A real estate broker acting on his own account may, under the regulations, be exempt from the requirement to open a trust account by completing the Declaration of exemption (PDF).
