6. Information listing service for agencies and brokers

One of the most effective ways to market a property is undoubtedly the use of information listing services to which agencies and brokers can subscribe. Such services are at the heart of the collaboration between brokers, which they maintain in order to energize the market.

In cases where the seller wishes to avail himself of this service, the broker must indicate in clause 6.1 Information listing services of the brokerage contract to sell the information listing service(s) to which the information concerning the immovable will be sent.

The services covered are those to which brokers subscribe and exclude advertising to the general public on various websites or in newspapers.

The second paragraph of clause 6.1 is for situations where the seller does not wish to use an information listing service. In this case, the broker need only check the box preceding the paragraph. By this statement, the seller acknowledges that he has been informed of the possibility of using such services and of the consequences of not doing so, but nevertheless waives his right to do so.
